According to a statement issued on X, 1.546 million pilgrims came from abroad, belonging to 165 nationalities, while 160 thousand 646 were local pilgrims, including Saudi citizens and residents.

According to the Saudi Department of Statistics, the number of male pilgrims was 893 thousand 396, while the number of female pilgrims was 813 thousand 905.

According to Saudi officials, 1.485 million pilgrims from abroad arrived by air, while 54,429 pilgrims entered the kingdom by land and 6,497 by sea.

Last year, 1.673 million people performed the Hajj.
