Islamabad: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced his resignation.
Ali Amin Gandapur has said in a statement that he is resigning from the post of Chief Minister on the orders of the founder of PTI.
Ali Amin Gandapur says that Sohail Afridi will continue to have my full support and backing.
He added that we will move forward together for the release of the founder of PTI and the party policy.
It should be noted that Secretary General PTI Salman Akram Raja confirmed these news while talking to the media that it has been decided to remove Ali Amin Gandapur from the Chief Ministership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Salman Akram Raja, Sohail Afridi has been nominated as the new Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that this is Imran Khan's decision, the background of which was also explained, the worst situation of terrorism is in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, today our soldiers and officers were martyred in Orakzai, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was told to visit itself with the wrong policy of the federation.
He further said that the only way to end terrorism is to sit down and hold talks, it is expected that Sohail Afridi will guide the federal government and explain, we have to protect the lives and property of our people.
Secretary General PTI said that the founder of PTI has ordered Ali Amin to resign, we believe that it is better for Ali Amin to leave this post now, we have to announce a new policy and make a new start.
Salman Akram Raja said that there will be no problem, Ali Amin will resign and the assembly will elect Sohail Afridi as the Chief Minister.
It should be noted that the designated Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, belongs to Khyber district, he became a member of the provincial assembly for the first time since PK-70, Sohail Afridi was the president of the Insaf Students Federation KP for a long time.
