Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has sought an explanation from the Deputy Commissioner of Mandi Bahauddin.

The Punjab Chief Minister has reprimanded the Deputy Commissioner for putting up a picture on the mosque and has directed the district administration and government agencies to follow the SOPs regarding her picture.

It should be noted that a banner was put up on the wall of a mosque built in a flood relief camp set up for flood victims in Mandi Bahauddin, on which Maryam Nawaz’s picture was also present in front of the Punjab government logo.

When the picture came to light, users on social media strongly criticized the Punjab government.
