In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, Islamabad United won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 143 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Islamabad United's Sahibzada Farhan was dismissed for 36 runs while Ben de Warshes was outstanding with 33 runs.
For Peshawar Zalmi, Muhammad Ali took 3 wickets, Luke Wood, Al-Zari Joseph, Ahmed Daniyal, Saim Ayub and Hussain Talat took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Peshawar Zalmi achieved the target of 144 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the 17th over. Moaz Sadaqat played an innings of 55 runs while captain Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 53 runs.
Babar Azam and Moaz Sadaqat had a partnership of 102 runs for the fourth wicket.
For Islamabad, Kyles Meyers, Dee Warshoes, Naseem Shah and Medeth took one wicket each.
With this win, Peshawar Zalmi has 6 points after 7 matches.
