Makkah: The administration of the Two Holy Mosques is ensuring the high quality of iftar food distributed in the Grand Mosque.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, various measures are taken to ensure the quality of these iftars, including storing the iftar in a clean place, ensuring that the iftar ingredients are free from contamination, and verifying that its packaging is correct.
In addition, the quality of the iftar ingredients is also monitored and samples are sent to the Grand Mosque laboratory where microbiological and chemical analyses are carried out to ensure the health safety of the pilgrims.
According to the news agency, the administration of the Two Holy Mosques, in collaboration with welfare organizations, is distributing iftar to more than 200,000 people in the Grand Mosque every day.
This process involves a team of more than 3,000 employees and more than 1,000 volunteers who arrange 3,200 iftar tables every day, with a total length of 50 kilometers.
Surprisingly, the cleaning process after this large-scale iftar is completed in just 5 minutes.
Health standards are being strictly followed in all these arrangements so that better facilities can be provided to the visitors.
