The debt of the federal government has become 62 thousand 291 billion rupees by September 2023, State Bank

 According to the data released by the State Bank, the government borrowed 1450 billion rupees during July to September 2023.

In the details of the State Bank, it is stated that the debt of the federal government was 62 thousand 291 billion rupees till September 2023.

According to the State Bank, till September 2023, the domestic debt of the government was 39 thousand 697 billion rupees while the external debt was 22 thousand 593 billion rupees.

Apart from this, the State Bank of Pakistan has also released the banking data for October.

According to the State Bank, in October 2023, the deposits of banks increased by 79 billion rupees, after which the deposits of banks remained at 26 thousand 397 billion rupees.

In the details of the State Bank, it was stated that in October, the banks gave loans of 40 billion rupees, till the same month, the volume of loans of the banks was 11 thousand 897 billion rupees.

According to the State Bank, the investment volume of banks in October was 610 billion rupees, while the investment volume till October was 23 thousand 232 billion rupees.

part from this, $3.17 billion was spent on external debt servicing in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, while $2.017 billion was spent on principal debt during July to September 2023.

According to the State Bank, between July and September 2023, $1.157 billion was spent on loan interest payments.
